Kristen is a serial entrepreneur and has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Female Founders by Inc Magazine for her company, Tierra Encantada, the Leader in Spanish Immersion Early Education®. Tierra Encantada features organic, fresh-cooked meals to expand young palates and is expanding nationally.
How It Started
Parents feel so much pressure to be “perfect” -
From making sure they spend hours cooking a healthy, homemade dinner to creating elaborate elf stunts around the holidays.
Kristen was inspired to write her first children’s book, An Elf’s Journey Home, after waking up the third morning in a row having forgotten to move her children’s elf. Her goal was to provide her children with a graceful way to move on to the next chapter in their holiday traditions.
I wanted to create a story that fostered the magic of Christmas while giving families an option to move on to the next chapter of their holiday traditions.
